Privacy policy
Last updated: 5 October 2026
This policy explains what data Cam Downloader, the website at camdownloder.top (the "service", "we", "us") handles when you use it, why, for how long, and who else is involved. It applies together with the terms of service.
1. Summary
- There are no accounts and we run no analytics.
- What we hold about a download is temporary: the file is deleted within 30 minutes and the job record a few minutes after the job ends.
- We do not store your IP address, only a hashed form of it for up to one hour.
- The site shows advertising from ExoClick. Its code runs in your browser, sets cookies and receives your IP address.
2. Who is responsible
The operator of Cam Downloader decides how the data described here is used. Contact: [email protected].
3. Data we handle and how long we keep it
- The link you paste and your job status. Used to fetch the video and show you progress. Kept while the job runs and for about 5 minutes after it ends, then purged.
- The downloaded file. Held in private storage so that you can save it. Deleted automatically 30 minutes after it is ready, or when you cancel.
- A hashed form of your IP address. Used only to apply the download limits. The address itself is not stored, and the hash is dropped after at most one hour.
- A session ID. A random value in the
sidcookie that links your browser to your own download. It expires after 24 hours. - Bot-check result. When you start a download, Cloudflare Turnstile gives your browser a one-time token and we ask Cloudflare whether it is valid. We do not keep the token.
- Technical logs. Our servers log job IDs, job outcomes and error messages to find faults and stop abuse. An error message can include the link of a download that failed. These logs do not contain your IP address.
We do not ask for your name, email address or any payment details, and we keep no history of what you downloaded.
4. Cookies and browser storage
sid(ours, 24 hours). The session ID described above. Needed for the service to work; not used for tracking.zone-cap-6047630, orzone-cap-6047750on phones (set by the ad code, 60 minutes). Counts how many pop-up ads have opened so that no more than five open in an hour. It holds a counter and a time.__suvt,__nuvt(set by ExoClick's code). A random visitor ID that ExoClick uses to recognise your browser, for example to limit how often it shows the same ad.- Browser storage. Two notes that never leave your browser: that you confirmed your age (until you close the tab) and that you dismissed the cookie notice.
- Third-party cookies. ExoClick, its advertisers and Cloudflare may set cookies of their own from their own domains.
The cookie notice informs you about these cookies; it does not switch them off. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the sid cookie, downloads will not work. Ad blockers stop the advertising cookies without affecting downloads.
5. Advertising
Advertising is supplied by ExoClick. After you confirm your age, every page loads ExoClick's code, which shows a floating ad in a corner of the page. When you press Continue or Download, an ad may open in a new window or tab, up to five times an hour; the first presses of Continue open an ad instead of starting the download. When you press play on the preview of a finished video, a video ad may play first, and a banner ad may appear over the video while it plays.
To load these ads your browser contacts ExoClick and its advertisers directly. They receive your IP address, details of your browser and device, and the address of the page you are on, and they may set and read cookies. They use this under their own privacy policies, over which we have no control. We do not send them the link you paste, and we receive no information from them about you.
6. Why we use this data
- To provide the download you ask for: the link, the job status, the file and the session ID.
- To keep the service secure and fairly shared: the hashed IP address, the bot check and the technical logs. This is our legitimate interest in preventing abuse.
- To fund the service: advertising. This is our legitimate interest in paying for a service that is free to use.
7. Who else receives data
- Cloudflare delivers the site and the API, protects them, and runs the Turnstile bot check. It processes your IP address and request data.
- Our hosting provider. The download server and the file storage run on a rented server. The link you paste and the file pass through it.
- The source website receives the request for the video from our server, not from your device. It does not learn who you are.
- ExoClick and its advertisers, as described in section 5.
We do not sell personal data, build profiles or share download history. We may disclose what little we hold if the law requires it.
8. International transfers
These providers operate in several countries, so data may be processed outside the country where you live, including outside the European Economic Area.
9. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Files sit in private storage and can be reached only through a signed link that expires after 5 minutes. The session cookie cannot be read by scripts. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee security.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict its use, and to complain to your data protection authority. To use these rights, email [email protected].
Because we hold no names or accounts and delete data within minutes to hours, we will usually have nothing left that we can connect to you. If you write while a download is still held, include its link so that we can find and delete it. For data held by ExoClick or its advertisers, contact them directly.
11. Adults only
The service is for adults. We do not knowingly handle data of anyone under 18.
12. Changes
We may update this policy as the service changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
